Help me change my clients mind

They want me to change the blue color that's on the column headers to that bright green color. Let me know what you think...

Dude, Let them do what they want. If a customer wants it changed I think they should be allowed to change. I also think it should be changed to a light green. I go with that the customer should always be "right" agree with them on everything, and do what THEY want. If you think something else would be better you suggest it and, if they don't like that idea atleast you proposed it. You should never go against what they're saying. Aslong as you're making your profit that should be enough, right? And they get exactly what they wanted, they may even come back.

That'd be my idea of running a good web design business.

You like colors tastefully matching..but I agree with the "Customer is King" thing..
Let them go wild!!
Add a line at the place where you say:
"This site is hosted and maintained by C-Double Web Development where the Customer is King"
That way you free your-self from your ethics/tasteless-responsibility-angst and from your customers choices :-)

I think the green should be change to the same blue.

But its the customers choice, if they want it to look like nuclear radiation, so be it!

I agree with the others.

I have been where you are, and I know how you feel. However..the website belongs to the customer, and our goal as designers is to make them happy!

If you don't..someone else will.
