header request

I am on the shared/baby package

When I use the apache_request_header command in my index.php I get the following fatal error.

Fatal error: Call to undefined function: apache_request_headers() in /home/***/public_html/index.php on line 139

Does anybody had same problems?

I think the apache functions only work if php is an apache module. PhpSuExec makes PHP run as a cgi.
