Having problems accessing my site

My access has been working perfectly up until this morning when suddenly I got the following message:

Connection Problems

Sorry, SMF was unable to connect to the database. This may be caused by the server being busy. Please try again later.

Is there something wrong with the network or the Hosgator servers?

I also cannot log into my cPanel at the moment.

You get the msg all the time? or a couple of times??

if its all the time, then there might be a connection / DB problem or very heavy load on the site (got digged? or something like that? )

if you have it every now and then; then a bunch of users checking @ the same time (again maybe a digg effect) n exceeded the 25 connections limit is possible.

In any way contact Live support or send an email to support at hotgator dot com, or even post the url for us to check!
