Talking i have a lot of questions

i have a lot of questions :

1. does the shared account have backup?

2. does the reseller account have backup?

3. i want to use private ssl, which package supports that, the hatchling package or the baby package ?

4. i just wanna make sure : Private SSL costs $75 and also needs private ip for $24, is that right?

5. you're using comodo for SSL, what type of SSL is it (InstantSSL, InstantSSL Pro or PremiumSSL)?

6. when i buy ssl from you, will i get Corner of Trust from comodo? because i need that.

7. i want to buy HackerGuardian Protection (Daily Scanning packages) from comodo, does your hosting support that? or do you have an offer to include that?

1 YES!! as long as u stay under 50K inodes limit - Check the TOS
2 YES!! as long as you/your clients do stay under 50K inodes limit - Check the TOS
3 I guess, all packages do support that

Please keep in mind that this is a peer forum, unless you see a GATOR in the name of a user; in which case whatever they say can be considered as official answer

Remember that no matter what host you use, you should never, ever trust they are doing a backup for you. Always ask yourself "what happens if they go out of business tomorrow and so nobody will restore a backup"? If you don't have a good answer, you're not doing a good enough job with your own backups.

When you become a customer you'll see a lot of posts in the rest of this board you get access to about automating backups to offsite locations.

So what and how do you suggest a backup is done? I have hosting through another service and they do back up nightly and they have had to do the occasional (very occasional) restore for me. I've been spoiled I know. But I've also paid for them to provide that full service. What do others do here? They do source an online backup service? Or do they have something else they can do? Can it be automated or is it done manually?

Kathie, there are many threads about backup methods in the Shared and Reseller categories...it would be better to start a new thread there with specific questions.
