I started using Hostgator around February 2006. I started with a reseller account. I have since opened a total of 3 reseller accounts, and have been very satisfied.

Whenever I need help I use the chat feature, and I've been able solve most problems this way. Occasionally, the support personel in chat have asked me to create a ticket, and tickets were also solved quickly and professionally.

I can't remember ever having a site down, and I have close to 100 sites hosted with hostgator. I also can't recall any major issues with slowness.

Not only that, I have been been recommending hostgator to phpLD users for well over a year (I own phpLD), and have consistently found that people are happy with hostgator.
