What happens to semi dedicated server customers

I'm on a semi dedicated server, what will happen to my account, will I have to change, also how do I view the specs of the semi dedicated server if I stay on that package (eg bandwidth allowed etc..). What packages do you have that are similar to the semi dedicated one.

The package you subscribed should always remain the same at the same price. Hostgator never changes the price at which you signed up.

Semi-dedicated hosting plans are no longer available.

There's a un-managed dedicated server available currently which is $75/mo. you can search as there are users who have posted the current config for it.

Did I miss something while I was gone? It still seems to be in the ordering system just as the unmanaged server is.

I don't like the idea of a unmanaged server as I don't have a clue how to manage one.

You can keep your current semi-dedicated account as long as you pay your bills (or do something so terrible that they'd terminate your account).
If new customers can't order semi-dedicated accounts it does not affect existing accounts in any way.
And if you still are uncertain, I suggest you open a support ticket and ask HostGator sales about this.
