Hello, the support from my current host has slipped over the past 2 years so I'm thinking of switching. They have something enabled in their Cpanel that I do see that you have enabled, which is Gzip compression. I had asked my host to enable this and the Optimize Website button appeared under Software / Services. Is this something you can offer, since this has speed up the load time of my websites considerably?

Although it does not appear on the cPanel demo the Optimize Website button is on the shared (HG theme) cPanel. I'm not sure about any of the other themes.

While the Optimize Website buttons appears, it doesn't work on shared accounts only VPS and Dedi's. HG doesn't activate the mod_deflate module on shared servers.
We use php's compression function, but that requires coding not simply turning it on through C-Panel. |

oh yes, gzip is a good stuff, on my VPS I am getting usual average rate of 10KB from 3KB gzipped approx, you can't do this trick on shared hosting when over 9000 users sit on it
