Great Support and easy Transition
I recently had more problems with my previous hosting supplier that was resonable and all my clients were complaining. After searching the web for a while, I came across host gator. I was at the stage that anything had to be better than the support we had been receiving. So I signed up to the Aluminium reseller account and eagerly awaited my email confirming the account signup. This email came very soon after and it contained all the relative links to any info I would require when setting up new accounts or transferring accounts.
My previous accounts were setup on cpanel, so after following the instructions on the hostgator page about backing up and restoring cpanel, I preceeded to do so.
This process was fairly time consuming given the number of sites we host (each site must be backed up seperately). But that was ok. I imported all cpanel accounts to hostgator and my clients were none the wiser (apart from a small email issue that was PROMPTLY sorted out by online support - nothing to do with the way I had imported the accounts..)
I have been monitoring the hosting constantly and cannot fault the hostgator servers. I am also impressed with the number of extra features they provide as part of the standard reseller package.
