Great marketing?

Congratulations to Host Gator. Either you really are a great hosting company, or possibly the best guerrilla marketing practicioners on the 'net!

Having had my second criminally incompetent host in 4 years repeating the first one's performance word perfect I have been extremely dillegent researching my next <sigh> move with great care.

Thus far I have heard nothing but good about Hostgator...

Last chance for any horror stories?

Truth be told, there does not exist a hosting company (or any service-oriented company for that matter) that can please 100% of the people 100% of the time. If you search hard enough, you will find people that have bad things to say about us. Heck, you'll even find some unflattering comments right here on our own message board (see Customer Experiences), but we always try our hardest to see that the customer is happy in the end. Our dedication to customer satisfaction is one of the main reasons that the level of positive feedback for us is so incredibly disproportionate to that of the negative.

I am confident that if you choose Host Gator as your next webhosting provider, you will not be disappointed.

All I ask is that when my WHM/CPanel start showing signs of serious malfunction (stats stop updating, restarting them causes data loss, CPanel password corruption, Entropy Search Re-build returns pages of gibberish, WHM/CPanel access becomes measurable with a diary...) I get a truthful response in less than two weeks. Oh, and it gets fixed.

Hopefully you guys can manage that? ;-)

As a long-term user (about 15 months) I can tell you that HostGator is by far the best hosting company I have ever used. Perfect? Of course not. But they go the extra mile to make sure any problems get resolved to the customer's satisfaction if at all possible, and their tech support is fast, courteous, and competent.
