I've been a customer for a couple of months now and the service has been very good.
However, when I signed up I was sold on a larger plan than I needed (Swamp) because I was told that Baby doesnt support Javascript. This turned out to be wrong. Baby doesn't support JSP which is very different. Now, I'm trying to downgrade to Baby and am being hit with a downgrade fee. I was told when I signed up that I can upgrade/downgrade at any time. I was not told of a fee. This is just wrong !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!! I can't believe I have to watch my pockets with these guys. Turned out to be shady after all. Last edited by dzabarko; 08-31-2005 at 12:33 PM. |

You are allowed to upgrade/downgrade at anytime, that is in now way implying that we do not charge a downgrade fee. We can either charge a downgrade fee, or an upgrade fee. And we would much rather charge the downgrade fee since it is used alot less often. If this is not in place then anyone could abuse the system by continuously upgrading and downgrading there accounts when needed, extra bandwith for a day - upgrade, downgrade tomorrow.
Sorry for your negative experience, but this is nothing new. We have always had this in place |
