Goodbye HostGator - hope to see you again
I have had reseller hosting, then a VPS with HostGator and has been a loyal customer for years.
But I'm also a *european* customer, so ping > 160ms doesn't really fit well with the intention of having fast websites served for european customers. Therefore I have chosen to say goodbye to HostGator for now - having purchased a VPS with another very large american hosting company, that also has a european datacenter. Now ping is aprox 55 ms and the VPS itself is much faster than HostGator's (the backend handling for instance, webmail loading time etc.) So I have decided to say goodbye for now, but hopefully also a "see you again", hopefully you will expand your datacenter capabilities to include europe sometime. And now........ Goodbye.
