GMC is down

It appears it has been down since around 9:40ish CST.

When did it go down and what is the problem?

I have logged outage for 2 hours 35 mins from external monitoring.

Interested to know also what the problem was.

We are performing an emergency Filesystem Check, this should be resolved shortly. Sorry for any inconvenience, but we do this to maintain disk integrity so you don't lose your files.

It appears to be back up now.

Zach, can you elaborate on what happened and what was done?

The filesystem failed, causing the server to go offline, When starting up it did a filesystem check and failed, we booted it to a live cd and repaired with a manual check.

Was the disk integrity compromised?
