Sorry, I was testy as another hosting company did something similar about a week before and caused me some irritation. Thanks keep up the good work.

OH BOY!
Well, I don't understand half of what y'all are talking about here. But I do KNOW, I have some sites with .php pages (for forms). Is this change going to change anything that I will have to fix?

What I do know is, just now, after doing monthly updates on two of my accounts (domains within my re-seller account) I uploaded files, thru an ftp client. Cleared my cache & hit re-load on a couple of different browsers. They do NOT show the changes I made. I looked on my WHM and on the cPanels to see if there was any announcements. Nope nothing. I even looked at my server status - all "green". I see a mention here - no changes have been made to reseller accounts. Well, something is going on I tried to load a couple of files thru my cPanel file manager - nope! Well, it acts like the files are loading - but no visible change on the live website.
I guess I'll keep updating my files & wait til tomorrow ? to upload files??
I'm HOPING this work you guys are doing is what's messing me up - and not something on my end...
BTW - my server is mondeo, for my re-seller account. The two domains I have on my Baby Gator do not get monthly up dates - and no .php, so should I be concerned with them? They are on gator 297.
THANK YOU!!!

You need to click on the php.ini EZConfig button
SORRY - I have read every post on this thread & still confused And still do not see my website updates.

I don't know code. I only know my WYSIWYG program. I do KNOW that when I build a page that has forms - I have to change the extension on the page from html to php. I just changed one of my cPanel setting to EZ Config - checked the site again & still don't see any of the new files I uploaded. BTW, this particular site does not have any php pages.

NOT trying to be a "pisser" but I agree
Yes, progress must be made... but an option to use or not WOULD be nice ESPECIALLY for those of us that work without code knowledge/training.

a sitebuilder module?
am I confused about this too?? Is this templates? Or an actual "program" that is used to build from scratch a website?

I'll wait a while before I do a ticket on my sites not updating...I think it's related to these changes you are working on.
Thanks

This information should have been e-mailed to us with a link to this forum.

I fixed it back by using the cpanel quick config. Now the web site works again.

Where is this phpini file stored?

I've found my php.ini file (it's above the public_html directory) but it's empty, should it be empty?

I'm using the HG theme and don't have the php.ini EZConfig button although I do have a button labeled PHP Configuration and another labelled PHP.ini Quick Config. Neither gives me an option to change anything and I expect this is because php.ini is empty. I've tried the x theme and didn't get any satisfaction there either.

I've written a php script, and need to make sure that Magic Quotes is turned off, so can I just write a command in php.ini to turn it off or am I missing vital php configuartions that should only be altered with the missing EZConfig button?

magic_quotes isn't turned off on my server. I've added a line to my php.ini file to switch it off and it now registers as switched off when I run this:
PHP Code:
<?php
echo get_magic_quotes_gpc();
?>
Just thought I'd let you know.
