I can not see it in my rvskin (frontend/rvskin/index.html).

I must have magic_quotes_gpc set to on.

It works great for me! Not only that but I tested it with magic_quotes_gpc switched off, then switched it back on again. The difference is as I expected -- with magic quotes off, many of my forms won't work. Eg, if I submit a test message containing quotes...

Testing "this" with 'quotes'

...it only updates or inserts into the database with magic quotes on. In future I'll program my inserts/updates with addslashes and avoid relying on magic quotes, but for now it's good to know I can very easily toggle the setting.

As far as I can tell, enabling the EZConfig tool puts a copy of PHP.ini in your home directory, which overrides the default PHP.ini. So the settings you have in EZConfig are the ones that will be used, no matter what HG does system wide. But you have to make sure EZConfig is enabled in all your cPanels otherwise the default PHP.ini will be used.

Like you, I need magic_quotes_gpc on... for now at least!

Did you submit a ticket regarding this? You can toggle the magic_quotes_gpc setting in your PHP EZconfig or you can PM me your domain, joomla login URL and credentials and I'll be happy to look at this for you.

Yea, I figured out what happened. I looked for it with filezilla, and could not find it, and then did the ezfix, then looked for the newly created file, and still could not find it. The reason that I could not find it was because filezilla did not refresh the folders that it had already been to.

You made the decision to change every shared hosting account's php.ini for a sitebuilder module? WTF? Really? ...are you smoking crock?

I still love you guys but please for the love make a pop up check box or something that makes the change when the customer wants to install the module......don't change everyone's world.

Well there are more reasons I am sure, especially since it is depreciated in PHP 5.3.0 (which we are at 5.2.8) and removed in 6.0. It's good to do these things one by one, rather than full out, when they upgrade to 6.0.

You clicked on the PHP Configuration button. You need to click on the php.ini EZConfig button.

I am usinge joomla, and i can no work in the admin backend (menu no work, images no work).

I do not know wath is the problem php.ini or saturday´s atack to targa.

This change has affected webcalendar but the error message made it obvious what needed to be done.
I did note as someone else has, you need to leave the ezconfig on after, otherwise the settings revert back.

No, in random moments it work ok, in other moments no work.

in admin joomla:
-the menu no work.
-i can not see 1 or 2 images of the main page.

when refresh the page it trun to mode semi text.
