Ordered a dedicated server 48 hours ago - still awaiting confirmation that it has been set up
Becoming impatient. How long does it usually take, anyone any ideas? Thanks Alex |

We do apologize for the long setup time for your server. We recently experienced a higher than expect volume of order for our Elite servers and we temporarily ran out of stock. We have just now refilled our stock and completed the setup of your order. We once again apologize for the inconvenience and we do thank you for your patience. Please let me know if there is anything else I can help you with. |

Hi Tim
Thanks for thats - its being left just waiting that is really the issue. One other issue, on the order page it states 'you will have the choice of RHEL3, RHEL4, FreeBSD or CentOS'. When do I get to choose this? Thanks A |

Alex,
You can specify an operating system by sending an email to our Sales department at sales@hostgator.com All of our servers are loaded with CentOS by default, but if you require a different operating system, please let us know.
