This project is kind of on the back burner for now, since we just launched VPS and working on Windows Shared hosting.

I started this project as something to do during free time. Once we launched shared hosting, we can probably start working on the project again.

I'm from the UK and gave it a try. The UK host was certainly much faster I would be interested in this myself but the majority of my visitors are from the US.

This could be a real winner and I imagine the original announcement was great news for a lot of folks, what sort of time frame do you reckon for restarting this.

It was the beginning of August last year that I first registered interest for this service. I know there have been other projects meantime, but I see now HG are launching a dedicated service. Is it possible that this UK IP for shared (or resellers) might be resurrected anytime soon?

I've been watching this for a while but I'm disappointed that not much seems to be happening with it. I'm getting tempted to move to a UK reseller hosting package as they seem to be improving their services.
I've been happy with Hostgator but being UK based means that UK hosting seems to make more & more sense to me.

One question, if I do move away fro HG, will that affect my Directi reseller account?

Please put a bit more urgency into this as I'd like to stay with HG

Also I am not to sure how this all works - forgive me for my thinking here - if my site is hosted in the USA and it takes say 5 seconds to load etc.

This is quite interesting - however I am not sure quite how I would handle this - possible need 2 accounts - one for my UK sites and another for US/International sites. Does this sound right?

Is this going to be available for Reseller Accounts as well? That would be very neat!

You will see further up the thread, that nothing is happening, so there is no offer at the moment. Shame, because I am having to put new clients to UK based hosts, and none of them seem as good as Hostgator - but the UK based clients provide the service that the clients want, and Hostgator doesn't.
