Default geoip blocking of countries. A bit of help is appreciated.

I'm reasonably certain that I have the database set up as per instructions in maxmind.
http://www.delau.net/php/geoip.html

Now I have done searches on how to impliment a system of blocking or redirecting traffic from certain nations based on geoip.

The problem is without really knowing what my next move is... I really do not know what it is I am supposed to be googling. And I don't think I would recognize it if I looked at it.
So if someone can budge me the correct passage that would be mostly greatly appreciated.

Why do you keep opening a new thread? you already have 3 open why not reply to one of them?

My 3 threads are.

1) In suggestions... I opened up a suggenstion thread and voiced my desire for a simple blocking utility in Cpannel.

2) In dedicated hosting... My mess up because I posted to dedicated hosting section instead of shared. Plus I was asking about DATABASE setup for the same problem.

3) In this section, shared hosting... I've got the database installed and I'm now looking for the next stage of the set up.

You have my sincere apologies for being slightly dense and determined to impliment this on my sites.
But sincerly you might want to consider geering down too because it is just a forum. A few extra typed words on a screen are nothing to get upset about.

first, get the ip database. from
http://www.ip2location.com/

with the csv base ip and location database.
insert all this to mysql.

and your script should get client ip, and match with this database. thus do the blocking.

I understand the theory well...
But for the last few days I have been sitting with both books on PHP and Perl...
It looks like I'm way over my head on this one and probably need to find someone to write it for me. (If I can't find a canned script to do the job)
