General outage?

I couldn't reach any sites on either of my servers at HG, nor the hostgator.com website, nor theplanet.com for a short while this morning. Was there some type of network outage?

Did you try a proxy or annonymiser? I haven't experienced any problem this AM and I have no reports of a problem reaching any sites on our server through our monitoring services... What time were you experiencing the trouble?

About 7:45 - 8:00. Couldn't get to to proxy I usually use, either, freerapids.com. Also couldn't get to dnsstuff.com. All of them just kept getting timed out. I'm in Maryland; one of my users in Tennessee was having the same problem. I was able to access my site on a server in NJ, however.

Lot of red lights for North America @ http://www.internettrafficreport.com and Global Crossing showing trouble @ http://www.internetpulse.net/

We had issues also this morning at around the same time where I live in Canada.

The server at hostgator showed up and running using domaintools ping test but could not access it from NB Canada for a short while.. between 7h30 and 8h35
