Default GatorChat Testing
We are in the process of developing something we call GatorChat.

Though it is in very early stages of development, we are still looking for people to help us test. As with any chat system, we are doing our best to support everyone; however, that is a very tedious process.

I just recently updated our Ajax framework to what Amazon and Google use, so we'll see how that goes.

Yeah, the in-house http server isn't very generous with timeout times on HTTP post's.

I'm just not going to use POST's at all, and that will resolve the problem you had. (Give me 10 minutes)

Out of curiosity, what are you going with? Jquery? Protoype/Scriptaculous? Dojo? Other?

Do you have any experience with programming in any of those?

Dojo seems most suitable for us at first glance, but that might not really be the case.
