Gator837 :: Outage

Team,

Currently gator837 has been down for almost an hour due to unknown reasons. Our data center is consoling the server currently and working to bring the server back up.

We'll update this thread shortly with more information.

I apologize for the inconveniences and the frustrations. Currently our Datacenters NOC is looking into the network now and seeing what is causing these issues.

Hello,

This seems to be a huge, spread out attack against this server.

Our DC has escalated this to a senior technician to help me mitigate this attack. The entire subnet range is being attacked, as well as multiple TCP ports (particularly DNS traffic) we are currently mitigating traffic along that criteria, but are continuing to adapt protective measures based on the type of malicious traffic.

We will continue to update this thread as more information become available.

Our data center is still attempting to mitigate this attack on this server. They have currently escalated the attack to a network engineer for further resolution. Hopefully we'll have a good update here shortly.
