Our gator207 server's main IP has been null routed by our datacenter due to a very large attack at nearly 5Gbps(gigabits/sec). We are working with the datacenter at this time to monitor the level of malicious traffic and the machine can be put back online once the traffic subsides to a level The Planet can manage.

This attack is still at 1gb+ second. It had died down enough they are putting it on four cisco guards, but to the size of the attack still it's yet to be seen if that will get everyone back online.




I asked the planet , and they said this is the largest attack they have ever seen.

The attack is still ongoing, but it looks like the guards are doing there job and everything is accessible now. Let's hope it doesn't increase again!!
