Default gator162 maintenance

There is an issue with the backup battery unit on the RAID card on gator162 not holding an extended charge/discharging. The scheduled maintenance time frame for this starts at 11PM CST tonight (October 29th, 2007) and should only last around 10-20 minutes.

Not sure if there's any connection? Around this time last night I updated and transferred two pages in a subdomain site. One of them went live right away. The other is still not showing the update. HELP!!
I'm NEW to this so it could be (probably is) something I am doing. I use Dreamweaver, save the file as "same name" - replacing the old file. I transfer files thru HostGator, not an 'outside' FTP.
I HAVE made changes to pages in this domain in the past and some are live right away, other times it takes MUCH longer. What is it that causes this reaction time? Especially when I do two pages on the same domain, back to back. I don't believe it's images or file size as the page that went live right away has FOURTEEN images of decent size, average, just under a 4x6 inch each. The page that has NOT loaded yet has mostly text, with five very small, thumbnail size images.
I do this page for my sister-in-laws band, so it's important that I keep the schedule and members updated.
CAN ANYONE HELP ME???
Thanks!!
oh, I checked the error log & it says, from what I can tell - file does not exist, several times! Yet when I look in the directory - THERE they are.... I'm puzzled.

make sure you are acessing it as filename.ext instead of Filename.ext (linux is case sensitive)

also try clearing your cache

There should have been no data loss at all since it was just the battery that was failing, which really only matters if the server crashes.
