The server currently has 1.3Gbits/s incoming to the server. The planet has been forced to null route the main shared IP of the server. We are monitoring this closely and as soon as the attack dies down, the server will be back online.

The traffic has dropped into acceptable use and can now be controlled. The planet will be lifting the null route soon.

Is it possible they moved on to gator204? I'm getting some horrendous speeds to it right now.

Well now the speeds are fine. That's especially annoying because I was on the line with telephone support when the slowdown stopped and they said "it loads quickly for me, it must be your ISP". Grr... It wasn't - I had done test from http://www.web-hosting-top.com/web-h...ite-speed-test
from my own IP, and the problem was originally reported to me from yet another ISP across the country. Speeds I was getting at the speed test site above were 2.5 seconds / kb on average. Now they are 0.02 seconds / kb. |
