gator14.hostgator.com is currently offline undergoing a file system check as we were receiving errors due to the /home partition being mounted as a read only file system. In order to resolve this issue we had to have the datacenter take the server offline and run an fsck to correct any possible file corruptions or issues on the drive itself. At this time there is no data loss what so ever and we will have the server online as soon as possible.

We appreciate your patience and understanding in this matter.

gator14.hostgator.com is currently back online and is being monitored. There does not appear to be any data loss what so ever however we may be mirroring this server to another server this evening to avoid any future issues with the hardware.

gator14 is currently going offline to be swapped with the server it was cloned to due to the hardware issues we were experiancing yesterday. 100% of the data was moved to this new server it's being swapped with and it should be back online within the next 15-20 mins.

Hi,

Our site www.unp-df.com ( I have 2 with you) has been down over the last day and a half, I understand hardware issues but we have lost data I on seeing our site back up this morning, installed modules 2 hour works and found this evening, that the files had gone. The SQL server had not lost the data and consequently started hammering out error messages.

I have backups from last night and will have to reinstall those I guess and start from scratch.

This is most unlike hostgator, tickets normally get replied to #CPH-230184 and I hope this a blip, as I say I understand hardware issues catch everyone out, not updating tickets......

I am still reasonably happy but hey meet me half way and let me know whats going on with tickets.
