Gator 3 problems?

I just crawled out of bed to find my site down. God knows how long it`s been down, waiting to hear back from support.

It was down for an hour, I was told it was a service restart. However my site has since gone down again after coming online for all of two minutes!!!

It's about 9:30am est here. I just got up and got online. My site was down, even though I could log into cpanel. The site is back up now, though, apparently. Like you said, who knows how long it's been down. Why does gator3 consistently have problems?

It was down a few minutes while apache was restrted. I'm not sure how you came up with an hour.

Any problems on gator 3? FTP is taking forever, I`ve had several attempts just time out.

Despite several emails to support about this, they say there is nothing wrong I`ve run several test on my end, my connection is fine. I have tried downloading files from another ftp I have hosted elsewhere, that runs fine. The problem is here on gator3, it`s taken me nearly 10 minutes to download one 75kb jpg image from a folder

I`m still having ftp issues this morning. I`ve used both wsftp and core ftp, and both are very slow sometimes timing out. The ftp transfer always stalls at this line

150 Accepted data connection

I have an ftp account on another host and that is working as normal, both upload and download transfers are almost instant!

12:43am Christmas morning. My site is down for no reason, after being perfectly fine less than an hour ago. Merry Freakin' Christmas, eh? This is stupid. Gator3 has SO many problems ALL the damned time.
