Team,
We have just had to take galloper down for emergency maintenance. Unfortunately we do not currently have an ETA for when the server will be back but we are working with our datacenter to have it back as quickly as possible. We will post any updates concerning the situation in this thread as they become available. Thank you for your patience during this time. |

Team,
We are having to rebuild this servers array while in our rescue environment to ensure the rebuild completes fully and quickly with the new raid controller. Unfortunately no eta at this time, but we will continue updating this thread with more information as it becomes available. Thanks for your patience during this time.

Hello,
I apologize for the delay in updating this thread. We have had a controller failure that has damaged part of the array on this server. We brought the server up in a rescue environment to let the RAID rebuild fully, however during this time the controller kicked the source card out and that caused the rebuild to fail. We currently have current data in a stable state at this time, and we are attempting to locate new hardware to migrate this data to. We should be starting this process in the next half hour. We will continue updating this thread accordingly with more information. Thank you for your patience during this time.

Hello,
As an update to my previous post. We have pretty recent backups of this server. We are provisioning a replacement server at this time, and once done (in about an hour or so), we will be migrating the data from our backup server to the new server. We are migrating the data from the backup server to keep the data on the server stable without a lot of activity. Once we have the backups restored, we will then start migrating current data back to the new server. I will update this process as we continue. Thank you for your patience.

Hello,
We currently have a maintenance page up on the new server, with data being restored from our NAS server. We setup the maintenance page as the 404 page. This means as your data is restored, it will automatically come back online in it's backup state. I will keep updating this thread as we go along. Again, we thank you for your patience during this time.

We are still performing maintenance on this server, however at this time you should see sites coming online. They are being put online in the order they are restored, so if you do not immediately see your site online, please be patient.
We will update this thread with more info as it becomes available.
