We are taking galloper down for emergency disk maintenance. Unfortunately, there is no ETA for the completion of this maintenance. We apologize for any inconvenience or frustration this causes.

We will keep this thread up to date with the status of the maintenance.

Maintenance on the RAID for this server continues. Unfortunately, we are not yet able to offer an ETA.

The maintenance on the disks on the server continues. We are cautiously optimistic that we will have service restored within the hour. However, we cannot formally offer an ETA yet. We will update again in one hour, or whenever the state of the server is significantly different.

We are continuing our work on galloper. We are still hesitant to offer a formal ETA, but we are very optimistic that service will be restored soon.

We are no longer optimistic about a quick return to service. Multiple hardware objects on galloper may be failing, we are attempting to discern the current status of the server and restore service.

We are grateful for your patience during this outage.

At the present time, galloper is responding to requests for sites. We believe that emergency maintenance on this server has finally drawn to a close.
