I am the designer for my DH's business's website. I am proficient at website design using Dreamweaver and everything having to do with that.
He had a photo gallery from his old host where he could just sign into the admin panel and add photos. It was just an additional page with the same layout as all other pages but with the thumbnail of the gallery pictures. I went to Fantastico and looked at my three options for galleries and chose Coppermine and now have an account with them. I have set up categories but have not yet uploaded pics. Anyway, what I want to know is how I get these pictures on his website. Is it just a link to the coppermine gallery? If so, he would not be happy because it wanted it like his old website. I know about the gallery in Dreamweaver with fireworks, but he cannot add pics easily to those since he has no clue about HTML. He wants immediate access to add pics and not bother me all the time. So again, how do I use Coppermine (or any other gallery) with my website through hostgator in a admin friendly way? Any ideas? |
