I'm currently running a weblog using movable type, and would like to install and use gallery. My current host has exec() turned off, so gallery can't run ImageMagick. Are these applications allowed on Gator? Is safe mode turned off with respect to php? Is ImageMagick automatically detected by the servers?
And another question, I'm not sure what this is called, but if I want my main site to be www.whatever, and my photos to be gallery.whatever, is that allowed? Thanks for putting up with newbie questions!

Imagemagick is installed on all of our servers.
You will also be able to set up subdomains (name.site.com)  Hope this info helps! -Justin
