FTP problem.

Well my websites up cpanel e.tc works but the trying to connect on the ftp timesout this is a recent issue the i.p is 74.53.172.34. If someone can check if theres any problems with it that would be great cheers.

I dont know much, but I use cuteFTP for mt ftp uploader. I have had it about 9 years now and its never let me down.

Yes I can not open an FTP session on this IP, nor telnet the port 21

This is not at all descriptive. You can't expect anyone to help you if you don't provide some basic information.

1. How are you trying to connect
2. What software are you using
3. Is there an error
4. What is the error

im using ipswicth pro but say connection error even i change my user name and password to cpanel and all defualt user or name domain firewall turn off but i cant connect? if i change my ftp software and what is the best to use ftp??/?//?

also make sure your username has your domain in

so user@domain.com is your username
