I have a host at the moment for my online portfolio, and i am very happy with their services. But i am looking to open a separate website with a forum.

The host i have now, from what i have heard, is not good to host forums on as they have a small CPU usage.

My question is.
Is HostGator any good for hosting a large sized forum with a lot of activity?
Using the Baby hosting plan?

HG is god for large/reasonable sized forums with reasonable traffic. If you have lot of traffic, you may need a VPS/dedi.

Post your exact traffic details for a more accurate assesment.
