Default Forms-To-Go ??

Ok, I'll bite. Forms-To-Go looked interesting but I got lost as to what it is doing.

Is it creating a form that I would use as a web page, or is it creating a form which I would send out to my users via an e-mail?

There were screen shots of the backup and a video clip, but nothing about the back end use...

It creates the file that process the values for the form YOU create.

It is handling the form as an e-mail correct?

How does the ultimate submitter get the form in the first place? Is it a web page, or do I e-mail out the form, and get an e-mail responce?

It produces a script to process your form that you already wrote. It doesn't create the form for you.

I started a thread that has links to HG user's favorite form submission programs and languages. The purpose was to collect multiple options for people to check out and pick what works best for them.

How does the ultimate submitter get (get to?) the "form" that forms-to-go processes?

You create a form and upload it. Run Forms-To-Go or Quick SM, etc. on the form. Change the form's action to the name of the created script. Re-upload the form and the script. Test and repeat if necessary. Done.

I haven't used Forms-To-Go, but the generic answer regarding forms is that it's up to you as the designer to decide and implement.

If you want the submitter to fill out the form via a web page, you put html tags into that web page to display input fields, collect data, and send that data to the forms processing script. If you don't know how to create a form on a webpage, you can read up on it or have someone do it for you.

If you want the submitter to get the form via email, the easiest thing would be to send them a text file which you ask them to fill in by simple text editing and then email back to you. Doing anything fancier than this with email can be problematic, as some folks do not allow anything except plain text to come through their email.

Once you get your head around how forms work, take my recommendation. Forms 2 go is one of the better offerings out there.
I have used it for years and from a non programmers point of view it is great to create custom responses etc

Cheers
