Folders keep reappearing

Some of the deleted folders on my web space keep reappearing sooner or later.. having to delete them is getting annoying. Any idea what's up with this?

which directories are you referring to?

There's a handful in the /public_html/ folder. I cleared a lot of them out when I cleaned up the web space a bit, but once in a while, they reappear (as empty folders).

Can you be more specific, directory names please. I'm assuming they aren't directories which you have created.

You're right. lol I just realized that they are folders attached to a subdomain. I'll delete the subdomains and see what happens.
