Default Fix forum clock

Not sure what category this belongs in, since there's no place for posts about the forum!

Following some recent change (maybe the routine to combat the spammers?), the forum clock has been consistently off by one hour. I'm set to EST GMT -5), with automatic Daylight Saving Time adjustment. Right now, it's 10:21 am here, but the forum is telling me that my most recent visit before this one was at 10:56 am, which would be a quite a trick! The timestamps on posts are also all off by one hour.

And we're still one hour off. How difficult could it be to fix this?

All of the clock-type things seem to be behaving themselves again. Correct time, and even the vBulletin Nazi™ has vanished!

Thanks.

Does HG use an NTP server or is it just using the time settings on the same box? Just curious.

Now the forum server time is off by a full five hours. I guess they're having trouble grasping this complex "time zone" thingie.

Hello,

I just wanted to note quickly this has been corrected. It appears as though the server's time went out of sync with the NTP server, however I'll also be looking into other solutions to hopefully prevent this in the future given the trend that appears to be occurring recently with this.

Please feel free to PM me directly if you see any other concerns with this.

Best Regards,
