Firehawk :: Chassis Swap

We are taking the Firehawk server down for an emergency chassis swap due to bad hardware.

Sorry about the short notice, but we need to get this done to avoid corruption, and future downtime.

The server should be online with the new chassis now. Lets hope there aren't anymore issues...

Wow DaveC, these chasis swaps are becoming a science as quick as they are done

Can dedicated users expect this kind of speed if needed

In this case, it was identical hardware, and we just moved the drives over to another server.

We didn't move the data via network to the other server in this case, which is why it was a bit quicker.

The array is just re-initializing at this time. You may notice a tiny bit of slow down, but RAID10 is usually pretty quick while its initializing.
