Files missing [resolved]

Its very disappointing to mention here again that hostgator hasn't stopped its nasty activities. I bought a 'baby' shared hosting account almost 2 years back. My account had grown upto 8GB within this time. Now I planned to move on the reseller hosting accountof he company where i work. On 16th Jan, an email to HG support was sent for restoring my baby account's backup on reseller's hosting.
But instead of restoring backup hostgator have deleted all my files under all my domains/folders including the backup file. So the hardwork I did in last 2 years has been destroyed. I am hoping that I shall get a solution on this as soon as possible.

 I see what has happened. I have a backup of your account from Jan 12th. The size of the error_log files on your account on Jan 12th was causing the account usage to show the 8G usage. Please check below :

Nothing was deleted from your account. The usage was lowered as the huge error_log files were rotated.

Its pure BS. For the last 2 years I m seeing my account and they say I am wrong. The files and folders are missing under all these folders mentioned in the reply above from hostgator. Hey Shashank, Why don't u check the backup before 12th Jan? This is really bad experience with Hostgator.

The issue became easier for us to work with when you provided us the list of files that went missing. I believe your data has been restored already.

Even after the restore the accounts quota still shows below 1GB. The error log issue did exist. Please check your cpanel's disk usage at this time.

I am very disappointed at ur info. Why didn't u restored all files? Complete account? Why only the files/folders I mentioned? When did I say that I provided complete list of missing files/folders?

Can you believe? today on 18th HostGator has suspended my account saying that 10 days have been over since the payment is due. Although 10 days are going to complete on 19th. So I am totally right that HG is harassing me unnecessarily. Earlier they said NO files have been removed. When I provided a few examples of missing files folders. They restored ONLY those files/folders I mentioned. This is height of BS behavior.
When I told that my account size was 8GB, they restored on 871MB(Before restoring it was 2GB)
But Now I can't view a single file because they have suspended my account ONE day in advance.

I checked your ticket HIO-12955214 regarding this and it appears that everything was restored correctly earlier today. We apologize if it was not restored correctly the first time. Please let us know if you require any further assistance on that issue.

Your current due invoice 4528180 was generated on 1/03/10 - which would require payment on or before 1/13/10 at the very latest with our 10 day grace period. I checked your account and it is not currently suspended on the server (even at 5 days past your grace period), however we cannot guarantee that it will stay active until the due balance is paid.
