I'm on the brink of jumping ship from my current host, and am poking around checking a few things before I pull the trigger.
On my current host, when I go to cPanel/File Manager, and do an unzip, it won't overwrite existing files. It gives me a prompt, but there's actually no way to respond to it (Yes/No/All). So, it just fails. I finally got shell access and installed PuTTY, just so I could do a simple unzip -o. ![]() Does the File Manager on HostGator suffer from a similar bug? (I'm guessing it does, since it's a cPanel thing.) |
