FFmpeg!
I think that you guys could install it on urs servers, i just created my account today but i will delete cuz this doesnt make sense for me.. but only let u know that maybe ffmpeg will improve Hostgator..

FFMpeg is way too resource intensive for a Shared / Reseller server. A Shared account is not really made for converting video files.
I could see clients accounts getting suspended left and right because they are converting video files.
