The more people tried to point out it was actually DNS problems, the more abusive she got. Really abusive, in several threads, not just about HG but about Serra and QuietFinn who were trying to help, then to people who urged her to calm down, and finally to those who suggested that trying QuietFinn's solution made more sense than citing her own infallibility...(and would, even if the web development company of her signature link had been anywhere near as big and extensive as she claimed.)

Her last post threw around four-letter words.

Of course, in the several dozen posts she then made in one of the huge Australian ISP fora, she claimed HG had banned her for exposing HG's DNS excuses.

But the point is, it took a LOT before she was banned.

I think there was another member got banned mid 2007 for being abusive to live chat operators because his forum account wasn't activated

Oh, right...he posted his chat transcript here and it was pretty awful. It may have included ethnic slurs, too, which (rightly) would have hastened the ban, which then came down at light speed. Didn't he manage to post a couple of obscene, drunken-sounding posts before the chat one?

Anyway, these two banishments involved posting that was way beyond the next level down (which has drawn a few admonishments and thread closings).
