Default few questions

I have a few questions before signing up for the swamp package.

1: Is this package good for trying to start a small business?

2: Is there anylimit to how much I can upload at one time? file size that is.

3: Is Host Gator easy to use when it comes to hosting my site and domain name here?

4: Are the servers fast?

Thank you.

1) Yes

2) I believe so (though I don't know the details - but it shouldn't affect you)

3) Hostgator is easier than any other host I have been with as they are quick to help you through any problems that may occur - however I would advise getting your domain from somewhere else to keep them with separate companies.

4) Yes

Regards, Steve Xx

1) I just spoke to live sales tech - and he said he doesn't think there is a limit -i've done some pretty intensive uploading before so i wouldn't worry abut it.

2) I'd Recommend Godaddy.com - I love their service - control panel - prices and have never had any issues.

Regards, Steve Xx

1. Yes very good. You will have plenty of space to host many customers.
2. No there is no limit except if you hit your Hard Disk Space Maximum.
3. Very easy to use if you would like to view our demo for cpanel, and WHM you can do so at the following link.
WHM = http://67.18.39.34/whm Username - demo | Password - demo
CPANEL = http://67.18.39.34/cpanel Username - demo | Password - demo

i second this !! as a reseller here i keep the free enom reseller account just in case, but all of my domains, both personal and retail/managed are with GD

its good to have your domains registerd somewhere other than your host... in case something goes "south" (no offense to my georgia bretheren) with your account.... also another good hint if you're not already doing it is to have your contact email address with your registrar and particularly your host independent of your accounts... again, in case something goes wrong you can be contacted at a seperate and independent address

I have 2 last questions, nothing really to do about wealther or not I buy or not im just wondering, on the home page it says Shared plans, whats does it mean by Shared? also next to the swamp plan it has semi dedicated, just wondering why semi dedicated is about 75 a month and have less features and the swamp plan has all features and is only 15 a month. thanks.

Shared plan means you will be on the server with other users. Semi Dedicated would be the same as a shared plan except you get more server resources, and there are only 4 user's per server.

I have one other question. If I pay 15 a month (for swamp package) as a test to see if I like it can I change it later and pay 44 something for 3 months at a time instead of 15 a month?

That would probably be best answered by an email to sales@hostgator.com
