Default A few question before buying...

Hello, I've a few question before buying...
May I know...
~If I'm using some other hosting, would HostGator helps to transfer it if I get some problems? Or restore a Directadmin backup?

~If I'm using Mysql 4 now, would HostGator helps to transfer it? It is difficult to do it...

~What is the CPU limit of HostGator? How many members can be supported at the same time for a BBS (say...vBulletin)?

~For Hatchling plan, does it mean even in the 2nd year, it still costs $6.95/mo? Can I pay though Paypal?

~Does the hosting allow_url_open?

Thanks.

Not more than 25% of system resources for more than 90 seconds or you will end up getting suspended.

Well HG have a 25mysql connection limit at one time.. so you could probably have about 100 people on the forum at one time.

Thanks for reply.

About 100 people on the forum, but my forum usually has about 200 people at 1 timeThen, can I pay a little more to increase the limit?

And for the domain, I've a domain in Godaddy and I'm going to use it for the site, can I still hold it there without change the nameserver?

By the way, does that mean I can just give HG the backup and they will help me to do all the things?

You might be able to get away with 200people online at at time.. but you would be better to look at a semi-dedi or dedi server.. how many hits do you get a day?

You can keep your domain at godaddy and will have to change the nameservers to HG's

No, as you are moving from a different control panel you will have to give HG your login to copy your site.
