Feature Request : Git

Hello,

There was a thread on this last year, but it seems to have died off, so I'd like to start another. I'd like to request that Hostgator make Git ( http://git-scm.com) available so that users can make use of their webspace to host code repositories using the Git SCM software.

Git is incredible. I don't have to submit every single commit to the server. Just do my work, when I'm sure I "push" a pack of commits. Then in server a single "pull" of latest changes, and voila!
I also like his binary support and the ability to keep a long history with care on filesize, or to archive the old changes so I use only the space needed.

I, too, would like to request that HostGator support Git repos on hosting accounts.
