A farwell Review

This will be my farewell review. After being with HostGator since Fall of 2003 and having two different servers with them, my main site can longer live on a shared server. My site was the one that was giving ns9/ns10hostgator server problems earlier this week. The amount of traffic we receive on the forums was too much for the server. Brent suspended my account since I our site crashed the server.

But Brent also let me bring my site back online and he disabled my forum so I could be back online since the forum was the problem.I would rather have the site up without a forum so my site visitors could still visit the site We spoke on the phone about moving my site to one of HostGtaors dedicated servers. Even though I have been happy here at HostGator since 2003, the dedicated price was a little too high for me

Brent could have said no, I am not letting your site back online till we move you to a dedicated server. But he was nice enough to disable the problem and let be back online.

One time since I have been at HostGator have I experience a downtime that did not meet HostGator's uptime gurantee. Uptime here has been great on both servers. The problem I had the last time I server problems was this week and my site was causing it.

HostGator is a good company to host your sites with.

The only negative I can say about HostGator is the support. I think HostGator could use a little refresher course on customer support. ( This forum makes reference to that in a few post on that subject)

Overall for Hosting, I give them 10 out 10.
Overall for Support, I give them 6.5 out 10.

Brent thanks again for bringing my site online and disabling the problem on my site.
If you offered an assortment of dedicated packages, I might have stayed with you guys.
