Default Fantastico down on skyline.websitewelcome.com?

I don't know if it's just all of my accounts, or if this is temporary, but fantastico seems to be down on skyline.

I get the message:
Fantastico has been disabled.

when I try to do anything in the fantastico screens.

Any advice?

Thanks!

You should contact technical support either through a Help Desk ticket or Live Chat. I would suggest a ticket as it is likely that there is a misconfiguration somewhere and an admin will need to look into it.

The ticket support route is right - but publicly asking questions and posting results here help others who are looking for same information, especially when waiting for support reponses.

The solution is sometimes a quick fix that others can help with as well.

Thanks for your replies. Fantastico is back up and working.

I did not submit a ticket as I thought it could just be a server load issue, or perhaps a setting I'd changed in my WHM. In the end, it stopped working for a few hours and now it's back. Not a biggie.

Could have been a lot of reasons for this, I imagine, so I won't speculate further.

Thanks!

Glad it is working again. I did a search for the error message and it could have been several things including Fantastico being updated (and the Fantastico site being overloaded so that it took longer than necessary.)

When I worked tech support I always liked having someone send in a ticket so that we could check. You stated it was no big deal and obviously have more patience than some customers. I always hated getting the tickets from irate users stating that the problem had been going on for hours (yet they were just getting around to submitting a ticket.) The quicker the tech guys know there is an odd problem the quicker it can be fixed and generally very few of the tech guys have the psychic ability to "sense" a server problem of this nature before it has been reported.

Hey,

This was actually due to Netenberg rolling out with a Fantastico update on our servers, which actually left a line in the configuration file that set Fantastico to off! We rolled out an update to clean this up, but if there's anyone else out there who is still seeing this issue, please tell us!

I'm assuming I have the latest version now since I started getting cron emails about scripts that are out of date.. that I originally installed with Fantastico long ago but have since been updating myself... anyone know how to stop these emails?

In Hummer Fantastico appears as "disabled".
