External Name Server with Reseller Account

Hi,

I wonder if I can do something like that.

I setup a Name Server outside HG, and point subdomains to server that I hosted in HG. Says www.domain.com to IP1 and app.domain.com to IP2. The MX record point to mail.domain.com, and a host entry point mail.domain.com to IP1.

I apply for one Reseller Account from HG. Can I create one cPanel account, under IP1, that accept http request from www.domain.com, and smtp request from mail.domain.com;

And add another cPanel account, under IP2, and create a subdomain app, that accept http request from app.domain.com.

Of course it is possible that IP1 may be same as IP2. Or if necessary, I may purchase dedicated IP for one of the cPanel Account.

Will whm allow me to create 2 cPanel accounts under the same domain name?
