Positive experience

My account was running out of bandwidth this month. I signed up earlier in the year so my $14.95 monthly fee only gets me 1/3 of what's currently offered for the same amount. I alerted tech and all they told me was I had to upgrade my account to the next plan. The next plan is semi-dedicated for $75. I don't need that so I questioned their advice with no further reply from tech. Why would I have to pay $75 for a plan that exceeds my needs while other customers are paying the same fee as me and getting 3 times the resources?!

Situation was rectified after another e-mail to sales. It was done within an hour of my e-mail. Now, that's service that I can be HAPPY about. Thanks, HostGator.

I was hoping that my website wouldn't go down as I just set a record in a Corvette Z06 and thousands of people wanted to see the video. That was close!

So what happened, you *****ed to Host Gator and they upgraded your plan to what the same plan is now, with the newer limits?

No problem, Brent. Thanks for your help.

I sent e-mail to sales explaining the situation I was in and asked for the account to be modified. Within an hour I received a response that the bandwidth was increased. I was really hoping it'd be that easy and that I wouldn't have to increase to the $75/mo. plan.
