All in all your hosting service is definitely the best I have used.
![]() I have previously used a hosting service where the Q and A turnaround was measured in days rather than minutes, and the A's weren't always any use at all - here, it's been in seconds. Seconds. Your helpdesk staff are superb. ![]() On another occasion I used a hosting service which promised me a free site forever.... at least, I'm sure it said that, but after paying for a domain name, loading up my data, two months down the line I was given two weeks to pay for an account or have my account deleted. Forever wasn't as long as I thought! Things to avoid: One click installation of software. Always check on here, or with the service desk, and with the software supplier support, that it works. So, with me, it rarely happens I don't end up deleting it and installing it manually - and usually that is so easy to do I really wonder why I bothered to try a one click install anyhow. I don't think this is your fault, I think software is updated so quickly nowadays its difficult to keep up.Being too clever with webmail. I did have lots of email accounts, which I ran as aliases. It was my way of dealing with spam. Hostgator don't do aliases, so a separate account needs to be set up for each email, and then a forwarder to the main account. Problem is that the email is not deleted from the original account when it is forwarded on, at least I haven't found a way, so periodically (once every few months) you need to run through your accounts to check that there isn't too much backing up, and delete it. Fortunately, that is very quick to do. So, thanks. A gentle learning curve, and in use, it's terrific. I do like the smileys on here. Shame I had to delete three.

I definitely see your concern, though we do provide both Fantastico Deluxe as well as our own QuickInstall to keep options available for clients. While I typically do recommend manual installs myself, these are both great options for clients getting up and running. Finally, regarding your last concern with webmail and management of email accounts. You actually don't even need to configure the email accounts given your situation. You can simply create 'forwarders' for the email addresses, which would act just like 'aliases' on the previous hosting environment. This will allow email delivery to the proper account while not retaining a second copy in the email inbox of the forwarded account.
