Excellent Service
I just wanted to post a message in public to say that HostGator are absolutely fantastic!
I'm a fairly advanced user, and I've only had cause to contact support 3 times. Each time they have been fast to reply, knowledgeable, and courteous. It's a refreshing change to deal with support people, who talk to you like they are a real person. At other companies they act like machines, with canned responses saying "no" and "no". HostGator say "yes" more often than not. My websites have had no noticeable downtime, and run fast 24/7. I had been with a larger host for 5-6 years before switching to HostGator about 1 year ago, I didn't think it was worth the hassle of moving all my files and changing DNS. Trust me, it was definitely worth switching, and I wish I did it a lot sooner.
