ETA on stable VPS service?

Hi,

sorry, i don't know if i can ask this here :P

i have been customer of hostgator for 2 years almost and i'm very happy with it, and in the work we need to move our vps to another provider, and really searching the only i really, really trust it's hostgator , for that i wanted to know if it's an ETA to let know to my boss and to evaluate if we can wait

also, the vps are going to be included in the affiliate? maybe i can get some bucks

I spoke with our Deputy CTO in regards to this and at this point, we don't have a firm ETA; basically it will be ready when it is ready. I know this isn't very helpful to most of you but there are a lot of things that have to fall in place properly for this to be successful and as smooth as possible.

We want to get this launch perfectly right so most everything is in place, we're just waiting basically on the custom billing system at this point to integrate with it and the developers are hard at work linking billing to the Parallels API. Please be patient trust us we'll announce it big when we launch it. Thanks guys!

Is it safe to presume WHMCS will be available free like in the other products?

When it is launched, I'm going to wait until the first 17,000,000 accounts sign up...blow out the servers...and then sign up on the second wave .

Joking...hope that HG does get 17,000,000 VPS accounts and the servers hold up too.

I think there are just an enormous number of people who want VPS, but they don't want to settle for VPS from somebody else.

We'll be on board when it does roll out.

After speaking with Brent about this, we will be including WHM Autopilot licenses for free, however we're not sure just yet whether or not WHMCS IP licenses will be free. He has told me that if he does decide to include it; it will only be for a single license per VPS. Hopefully this helps!

I emailed Brent, and he mentioned that transferring existing reseller account WHMCS licenses to the VPS should not be a problem.
