Hi.
I have a site with Mybb an Mysql. I see the following messages: ![]() and ![]() from Mysql and MyBB indicates than no problem directly from them, but this corresponde to the hosting setup. These errors are recurrent like 2 times per week, lasting about 5 minutes. Grateful indicate solution. Thanks. If this post does not pertain to the topic please move where appropriate. First, You posted this in the wrong forum and unlikely to be seen by many people, let alone by any HG staff passing by..
Secondly, This is a peer forum (customers just like you) therefore we can't be much help to you. You need to open a support ticket with support [AT] hostgator [DOT] com if you want help with this issue. WendyH |

What?!!! Are you saying that HostGator's live chat people sent you to this forum to get an answer for your problem? That's not right. As SonicFog says, these are peer support forums and, having no access to your account or its web applications set-up, there's not a lot we can do to help you pin down the source of the problem.
You need to contact HostGator support again and, if you don't get a satisfactory response, insist on "escalating" the issue and/or send a PM about it (including the chat reference or ticket number) to Josh Lowe or one of the other Gators here so that they can look into its handling by the HG support staff. Posting here isn't going to help the problem but personally I agree the more people that do actually post whenever something happens will help, even if it releives a bit of pent up frustration when trying to work on a site and again mysql goes down like today for the umteenth time in a week

I suppose it depends on the objective. Complaining here may relieve some personal frustration, but actually getting a problem of this kind fixed requires action by the people who have the access required to look into it. And that, in turn, may sometimes require a bit of persistence by the customer.
There's nothing wrong with asking for "escalation" of a support ticket if you're not satisfied with the response. In fact, it's the only way that bad support responses are going to get corrected in the long run. |
